
Abondance is an ideal place for summer and winter holidays, with its fantastic abbey and art museum, and guide walks. You can also taste some of the local cuisine including the famous Abondance cheese, which you can buy directly from the dairy farmers in the village.
The French Ski resort of Abondance lies in the Abondance Valley, at the gateway to the Portes du Soleil ski area, and just 1 hour away from Geneva airport. The ski resort is situated at an altitude of 1000m, on a shelf backing onto Mont Jorat (1830m). The whole Abondance Valley is dominated by Mont de Grange (2432 m) and du Pic de la Corne (2084m).
Abondance consists of a small amount of ski slopes, with access to all the ski runs in Portes du Soleil, which is the largest linked ski area in the world. A regular shuttle service guarantees a hassle-free link to the Portes du Soleil's slopes.
