Le Praz de Lys - Sommand is located in the Chablais area of the Haute-Savoie region in the Alps. If you are looking for a more traditional French ski experience, then Le Praz de Lys - Sommand is the place to be with beautiful wood clad buildings set above Taninges close to Mont-Blanc.
The resort altitude ranges between 1400m to 1980m and gives you access to 60 Kms of groomed pistes, 60 Kms of cross country trails and a snowpark.

Le Praz de Lys-Sommand offer excellent skiing particularly for beginners who want to escape the rush and also caters for intermediates and experts with some off piste skiing. Snowboarders are not left out either with a snowpark available in the area.
There are 23 ski lifts covering the area, connecting Praz de Lys to Sommand and to other ski areas near Mont-Blanc. Ski lift passes are also usually half the price of that of other well known French resorts.
