
Ski Le Corbier (1550m) is a peaceful purpose built ski resort in the Maurienne valley. Le Corbier was built in 1960s with just 15 Kms of ski slopes but has now grown into a fully fledged Ski resort with access to 310 Km of slopes including 90 Km in Le Corbier area alone. Le Corbier part of Les Sybelles ski area provides excellent conditions for skiing and snowboarding.
The resort is entirely pedestrianised and is not over crowded; moreover all the apartment buildings have direct access to ski slopes and lifts. There are also fantastic après ski activities in Le Corbier including a covered shopping area.
Le Corbier gives you access to 90 Kms of excellent ski slopes and also provides easy access to the Les Sybelles ski area (310 Kms) of ski slopes. This area is totally linked and therefore Le Corbier provides you with opportunity to slide down the biggest ski area in the Maurienne valley. There are 127 individual runs ranging between the altitudes of 1500m to 2500m catering to all abilities. There are 22 ski lifts connecting the whole area.Although there are not many black runs, Le Corbier is an excellent resort for beginners and intermediates. Snowboarders are not left out either with a snow park in the area.
ESF Le Corbier offers a good ski school and Le Corbier is also rated well for child care facilities like Jardin des Neiges Esf and La Planète aux Enfants.
