The UNESCO site of Mont St Michel stands on the border with Brittany and is linked to the shore by a causeway. The chic town of Deauville, often referred to as the Monte Carlo of the North, is a popular resort with casino and pertty harbour. The pretty Norman towns of Honfleur and Bayeux are definately worth visiting during your holiday.
